Driving Ban on Daytona Beach
As of March 1, 2000 you can't drive on "The World's Most Famous Beach" between Seabreeze Blvd. on the North to International Speedway Blvd. on the South, a span of one mile which eliminates the center of the driving beach, and divides it in half. To drive on both the North section and the South section of the beach you will have to leave the one section of the driving beach and take Atlantic Avenue to the other section at a different enterance.

Volusia County Ordinance 96-37 (who voted against beach driving and why)
