Course Description: Nestled within 300 acres of woodlands and uniquely situated along the Tomoka River. It is a 6821 yard, par 72 course. A perfect blend of natural surroundings combined with a competitive and scenic golf course layout. The course gently slopes with the wetland borders and on the south, contours gracefully with the flow of the Tomoka River. Separation of the golf holes by the wetlands required environmental boardwalk crossings that are both beautiful and functional.

Hole 1
A good starting hole. It's trapped right, fairway bunker right, fairway bunker in the middle of the fairway. The green is elevated. Trap left, trap right around the green. Second shot in there for the average player is approximately seven or eight iron.

l342 l306 l284 l241 Par 4

Hole 2
A good driving hole. The key to the second shot into this long green is it's trapped in the back. Your second shot is the most important for the average player. It's approximately a five or six or seven iron.

l408 l379 l353 l306 Par 4

Hole 3
It's trapped right. From the tee it's set up, you can hit the shot basically left to right. For the average player from the front tee, it's probably a four or five iron.

l199 l175 l159 l126 Par 3

Hole 4
It's a great hole coming out of the chute. It's a left-to-right shot for the second shot. It's a two shot hole for the average player. You want to hit a driver and basically a three or four wood to play for position. It's well trapped left from the tee and up around the green there's a trap right.

l517 l500 l458 l402 Par 5

Hole 5
It's a medium iron into the green. Trap right, back trap left. It's a huge green.

l182 l175 l166 l120 Par 3

Hole 6
Emphasis on the tee shot here is important. It's a real tight landing area. Trap right at the fairway. Trees left in the landing area. Green is well trapped. Trap left.

l388 l360 l345 l279 Par 4

Hole 7
From the teeing area, it's fairway bunker right landing area, it's fairly narrow. Up around the green, it's trapped right. There are trees on the left-hand side of the green. The second shot into the green is appoximately a five or six iron.

l398 l385 l362 l308 Par 4

Hole 8
It's definitely a three- or four-shot hole. For the players, it's the longest hole in Volusia County. The fairway traps from the tee only help you get your tee shot lined up. There are no traps around the green. The green is elevated and undulating.

l616 l602 l589 l472 Par 5

Hole 9
It is a good little finishing hole. Trap left from the tee, there are palm trees in the center of the fairway. The green is trapped right hand side. For your second shot into the green, for the average player, it will be an eight, nine, or a wedge. Ninth fairway from the tee looking out, your landing area is very undulated, and gives you a real good clear picture of the hole.

l369 l353 l321 l303 Par 4

Hole 10
The key to this hole is position off the tee. If you hit a three or a five wood off the tee and you have a mid-iron into the green that is undulating.

l392 l365 l329 l267 Par 4

Hole 11
From the teeing area, fairway trap left, palms right, palms left center. Your second shot into the green, the green is elevated, you have a trap behind the green. For the average player, for the second shot, it's a four or five iron into the green.

l391 l360 l325 l292 Par 4

Hole 12
It's downhill. It's very deceptive, it's trapped left. For the average player, it's an eight or nine iron. This green is also very undulating and has a lot of nice roll to it.

l160 l144 l106 l106 Par 3

Hole 13
A great par 5 because it gives the average player a chance to go for the green in two. Your tee shot here is...the fairway is wide open, it's trapped right from the tee. But up at the green for your second shot there's bunker left, trap right, and you have to hit an accurate second shot into the green to make the ball hold on a green that runs away from you. For the average player, for the second shot in here, it'll be a five wood or a long iron, a four or a three iron.

l484 l438 l416 l413 Par 5

Hole 14
It's a long dog-leg right. Your tee-shot is very important here. You have to carry the ball about 225 to get to the corner. Fairway trapped left. Your second shot into the green for the average player is a three, four, or five iron. Trap left in front of the green, and the green is undulating from the back to the front.

l423 l446 l411 l335 l299 Par 4

Hole 15
It's a dog-leg left down into the green. Your landing area from the tee is approximately 260 yards. Your tee shot's very important here. Your second shot into the green, the green is elevated, with a big undulation in the front. Your green is a double-tier green from the front to the back. The average player will hit a seven, eight, or nine iron for their second shot.

l385 l371 l341 l312 Par 4

Hole 16
It's a double dog-leg. For the average player and the good player, it is definitely a two-shot hole on the position hole. Tee shots favor the right-hand side. There are fairway traps right. Your second shot, for your position, your landing area is trapped with a trap left and trap right. The second shot is usually a four or five iron, and the third shot into the green is usually a pitching wedge or sand wedge. The green is very undulating, from front to back.

l552 l485 l452 l433 Par 5

Hole 17
This green is down like in an amphitheatre. It's got mounds around it. From the tee, the iron that you hit is approximately for the average player a five or a four iron. The importance here is when you get on the green, the putting becomes very important because of the way the green is elevated.

l187 l167 l139 l111 Par 3

Hole 18
A great finishing hole. When you look out from the teeing area, it's trapped right, and trapped left. The landing area is big. You've got to hit your tee shot approximately about 250 yards. The average player into the green will be hitting a four or five iron. The green is well trapped on the right hand side, undulating from the back to the front with mounds at the back of the green which offsets the hole from the standpoint of hitting your shot. It gives you a good backdrop for your second shot into the green.

l428 l377 l360 l322 Par 4
