Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit
saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the
second death.

This page is dedicated to Christ Jesus, who overcame the world.

This is a subject that has been argued over for two thousand years. Before the church, the Isrealites never argued over which day God had told man to set aside from his worldly labors and to REST. To rest with God, to fellowship with our creator, and to sing praises to His Holy Name. This is what our God intended for us to do on His Sabbath.

Some say Sunday, some say any day of the week is fine as long as you "give a little time" to God. " It dosent matter."

Doesn't It?

Has the Sabbath of God, that was spoken by Him, established by Him and consecrated by Him been done away with? Has it been Replaced by Sunday?

For what purpose are we to remember the Sabbath day? It's in the Bible, Exodus 20:8, "Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy."

When according to the Scripture does the Sabbath begin and end? It's in the Bible, Leviticus 23:32. "From even unto even, shall ye celebrate your sabbath."

When does evening begin? It's in the Bible, Mark 1:32, "And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils."

Work is not to be done on the Sabbath. It's in the Bible, Exodus 20:9-11, "Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

What Sabbathkeeping counsel does Isaiah give? It's in the Bible, Isaiah 58:13-14, If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words: Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD
hath spoken it."

What evidence is there that the Sabbath was designed to be a day for public worship? It's in the Bible, Leviticus 23:3, NIV. "Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is  the sabbath of rest, an holy convocation; ye shall do no work therein: it is the sabbath of the LORD in all your dwellings. There are six days when you may work, but the seventh day is a Sabbath of rest, a day of sacred assembly."

Jesus suggested that the Sabbath hours be used for doing good deeds. It's in the Bible, Matthew 12:11-12, And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.
