Prayer - Can it Help You ?

For truly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you shall say to the mountain, 'Move from here to there,' and it shall move; and nothing shall be impossible to you. Matthew 17:20

Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven.
For where two or three have gathered together in My name, there I am in their midst. Matthew 18:19

Truly I say to you, If you have faith, and do not doubt, you shall not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it shall happen.
And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you shall receive. Matthew 21:21

Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do shall he do also and greater works than these shall he do; because I go to the Father.
And whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. John 14:12

Truly, truly, I say to you, if you ask the Father for anything, He will give it to you in My name.
...ask and you will receive, that your joy may be made full. John 16:23

Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it shall be opened. Matthew 7:7, Luke 11:9

He who shuts his ear to the cry of the poor will also cry himself and not be answered. Proverbs 21:13

You do not have because you do not ask.
You ask and do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, so that you may spend it on your pleasures. James 4:2

And Jesus answered saying to them, Have in God.
Truly I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, Be taken up and cast into the sea, and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says is going to happen, it shall be granted him.
Therefore I say to you, all things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them, and they shall be granted you.
And whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father also who is in heaven may forgive you your transgressions.
But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father who is in heaven forgive your transgressions. Mark 11:22

For they cried out to God in the battle, and He was entreated [intercede] for them, because they trusted in Him...
For many [enemy] fell slain, because the war was of God. 1 Chronicles 5:20

For the Lord hears the needy. Psalm 69:33

Call to Me, and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. Jeremiah 33.3

Humble yourselves in the presence of the Lord, and He will exalt [raise up] you. James 4:10

If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it shall be done for you. John 15:7

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do the things that are pleasing in His sight. 1 John 3:22

He who turns away his ear from listening to the law, Even his prayer is an abomination. Proverbs 28:9

Is anyone among you suffering. Let him pray. James 5:13

How Should I Pray ?

And when you pray, you are not to be as the hypocrites; for they love to stand and pray in the synagogues and on the street corners, in order to be seen by men. Truly I say to you, they have their reward in full.
But if you when you pray, go into your inner room, and when you have shut your door, pray to your Father who is in secret, and your Father who sees in secret will repay you.
And when you are praying, do not use meaningless repetition, as the Gentiles do, for they suppose that they will be heard for their many works.
Therefore do not be like them; for your Father knows what you need, before you ask Him.
Pray then, in this way: Our Father who are in heaven, Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.
And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Matthew 6:5, Luke 11:12

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9

And Cornelius said, Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house during the ninth hour; and behold, a man stood before me in shining garments,
and he said, Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms [deeds of charity] have been remembered before God. Acts 10:30

If we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.
And if we know that He hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests which we have asked from Him. 1 John 5:14.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Philippians 4:6

But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all men generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him.
But let him ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind.
For let not that man expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, being a double-minded [doubting] man, unstable in all his ways. James 1:5

Is anyone among you sick. Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him.
And prayer offered in faith will restore the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they will be forgiven him.
Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another, so that you may be healed. James 5:15

For if you forgive men for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.
But if you do not forgive men, than your Father will not forgive your transgressions. Matthew 6:14

As for me, I shall call upon God, And the Lord will save me.
Evening and morning and at noon, I will complain and murmur, And he will hear my voice.
He will redeem my soul in peace from the battle which is against me. Psalm 55:16

 Offer to God a sacrifice of thanksgiving, And pay your vows to the Most High;
And call upon Me in the day of trouble; I shall rescue you, and you will honor Me. Psalm 50:14

Pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:17

These [apostles] all with one mind were continually devoting themselves to prayer. Acts 1:14
